Apple and Paprika Exfoliating Treatment

Only when we sat down for our lunchtime facial did we realize we'd forgotten concealer to cover the inevitable blotchiness. And aesthetician Straubel couldn't reassure us, especially when the apple-pulp exfoliator stung like needles and the paprika-infused mask brought blood rushing to our cheeks. We're not sure whether it was Straubel's gentle massage or the Stonecrop plant mask that calmed and moisturized our face, but when we left, it was shining without the help of makeup.

I got another great facial from Luci today; so relaxing!  She is the best aesthetician ever, and really knowledgeable!  My skin feels so much better every time I see her.  Luci also sells great facial products.  They're mostly plant-based and organic.  Today, I picked up a tinted powder sunscreen that's compact and portable, and comes with a built-in applicator.  It's pretty nifty, 'cause you can carry it with you and just take it out when you need it, but it lasts 4 hours.  I've been back to Vfranca Spa several times now, and I highly recommend Luci!

I've been to Luci several times and have never been disappointed.  First of all, she takes her time explaining all options to you and never tries to "upsell" you on anything.  Second, she takes a great deal of time and preparation in her treatments.  Third, she'll give you a special rate and help you out with pricing even if you don't know about any specials that are going on.  Last (and most importantly) you definitely feel comfortable during the whole procedure.

I would encourage anyone getting laser hair removal to check her out as well... her prices are great and the laser is definitely top-of-the-line.  Not all lasers are created equal, although the technical specifics of why this laser is better currently escape me...

I personally get the Arctic Berry Peel and it leaves my skin looking five years younger at the end of it.

July 12, 2014 · I've had facials most of my adult life and the facial Luci gave me was very relaxing. Relaxing is nice, but more important, my skin looked fantastic afterwards, which is the biggest reason I get facials. The eye cream she sold me is still working and I just love the compliments I get on my youthful appearance.

If you're looking for the best facial of your life, this is where you'll get it.  I have had many facials before (some even in Europe) and this is by far the greatest.  Luci is a seasoned pro and makes me feel so relaxed and well cared for when I come in.  You can tell that the artistry of facials is respected, here.  I've come back many times, and Luci always customizes the Deep Cleansing European Facial for my skin- everything from a lip mask to a hand treatment is included, and it never feels rushed.  I also have a dark spot that I am concerned about, which Luci is helping me gradually fade with organic, natural products.  She really takes the time to make sure you're glowing by the time you leave.  She is also better at massage than most massage therapists I've been to!  I feel lucky to have such a world-class facialist up here at high altitude.
